Happy Holidays, Home & Away Family! For this month, I thought it would be fitting to talk about Christmas Markets since I just recently went to Christkindlmarket Aurora! I went with my hubby’s family and it was a great time!
One of the most enchanting ways to experience this holiday is by visiting a Christmas market. From the quaint streets of European cities to the bustling streets of Asian metropolises, these markets offer a unique blend of tradition, culture, and holiday cheer. Here’s a guide to some of the most magical Christmas markets around the world:

A unique way to experience multiple Christmas markets is by taking a river cruise. Several cruise lines offer Christmas market cruises along the Rhine and Danube Rivers. These cruises allow you to visit multiple markets in a short amount of time, while enjoying the comfort and luxury of a river cruise ship.
Popular river cruise lines that offer Christmas market cruises include:
- Viking River Cruises

- Avalon Waterways
I’m actually trying out all of these river cruise lines next year, but doing a Christmas market river cruise is on my bucket list! If you are interested in doing one, let me know!
